About
Hello, your local Fashion Psychologist here!
My story in the world of fashion began very early on in life, growing up watching my father practise the art of quiet fashion and have a presence that was unmatched. My mother at the other end of the spectrum looked like a 70’s model, beauty and style - I very quickly learnt the power of clothing and fashion, to dress in a way that was authentic, that is what led to confidence and presence, a place at the table.
I soon found myself sketching, sewing garments, and showcasing my handmade pieces at charity events, I wanted others to feel good when they showed up. Those early experiences weren’t just creative play; they were the first signs of a career that would blend artistry, psychology, and human connection. My fashion style and skill led to acceptance in circles I may not otherwise have accessed - teaching me early on that fashion isn’t superficial, it’s influential.
As I grew, so did my passion. Opportunities presented themselves to work across the UK and UAE fashion industries - runway, editorial, print, styling, and personal client work - gaining first-hand insight into how fashion shapes identity and influences behavior on both individual and cultural levels. The way I presented myself evoked emotions not only in others to open doors but the confidence in me to walk through those doors.
I later found myself at Central Saint Martins, London School of Fashion, studying Fashion Styling and Fashion Journalism, an unforgettable chapter where I learned from leading creatives and formed relationships with inspiring minds within the industry.
I continued with learning and completed two Master’s degrees in Psychology - one in pure Psychology, to build a foundation in human behaviour, cognition, and emotional processes and a second at the magical University of the Arts London, London College of Fashion, in Applied Psychology in Fashion, where I specialised in the intersection of fashion, identity, consumer behaviour, and the science behind why style truly matters.
I have created this website to share my knowledge that fashion isn’t superficial, it’s psychological, it’s powerful, it’s an expression of identity, a communication tool, a behavioural influence, and a reflection of culture. I want to share with others how fashion moves us, inspires us, empowers us and why we dress the way we do - how clothing choices can transform mood, performance, confidence, and perception. Sometimes it is as simple as a blow-dry or a new handbag - subtle shifts that can elevate the way we feel, speak, and present ourselves in a much happier place.
